Adela Kobelska

Adela Kobelska, PhD, cultural historian and literary scholar associated with the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw (Poland). She is an andjunct in the Institute of Polish Literature (in the Department of Poetics, Theory of Literature and Methodology of Literary Studies) and before that she held a junior faculty position in the Institute of Polish Culture where she was also a member of the Workgroup of Urban Studies. Her main research interests include cultural history of intellectuals and literary scholarship in East- and Central Europe, as well as modern urban and scholarly culture. She is the author of the book on Poznań Polonists’ Circle in the 1920s and 1930s: Miasto – uniwersytet – literaturoznawstwo (2016) and has been published in journals such as Przegląd Humanistyczny, Ruchu Literacki and Przestrzenie Teorii.
